Suisse, GenèvePorsche 911 GT3 Touring (992): 4.0-litre naturally aspirated, 510 ch, 9,947 km
A GT3 without a rear wing. For many enthusiasts, this is the one.
The GT3 Touring’s 4.0-litre flat-six engine produces 510 ch and revs up to 9,000 rpm, without a turbocharger or electric assistance. The sound is that of a road-legal racing car. With the 7-speed PDK gearbox, Porsche claims 0–100 km/h in 3.4 seconds.
The 911!
The Touring version does away with the GT3’s fixed rear wing. It retains a retractable spoiler, like a Carrera. From the outside, it’s just another grey 911. Under the bonnet and in the chassis, it’s a GT3. It’s the sort of car you can take to work on a Tuesday and up a mountain pass on a Sunday, without anyone turning their head until they’ve heard the engine.
